Demographix hires Head of Insight to boost managed services

LONDON UK: Demographix, the leading UK developer of online research tools, has appointed Gina Lee-Young as its first-ever Head of Insight. The new role signals a greater emphasis on making managed services available to its client base, and a significant expansion of its support services for customers' in-house research.

Gina brings a wealth of experience in market insight and data analysis to the Demographix team. Her CV includes senior roles at two of the UK’s largest consumer publishers, Time Inc and Hearst, both customers of Demographix. Most recently she ran her own successful market research business, AMLY Consulting.

Gina will be heading up our drive to offer clients greater support with managed services and advanced insight, reporting and infographics initiatives. "We are delighted to welcome Gina to the company," said CEO Derek Cohen. "She has an in-depth knowledge of our system based on many years of use. We think all our clients can benefit from the skills she offers, especially her expertise in advanced reporting and infographics."

Gina will be involved in some major new initiatives around managed services, including:

  • Reports, presentations and charting: Demographix clients who wish to outsource data analysis and reporting projects, when demand spikes, can now turn to Demographix. Report generation on major survey results can now be given an experienced eye, as well as a wider context within overall market sectors.
  • Survey building for complex surveys: Where major surveys involve complexity and precision, we will now be able to shoulder the worry of these. We will be offering consultancy and feedback on survey content and anticipated data analysis breakdowns.
  • Training users in reporting best practice: Gina's expertise in writing reports and PowerPoint presentations from the data derived in online surveys will be the basis of new training available to all. Let your in-house team learn skills, or discover their scope and let us fulfil for you.
  • Full panel management service: Something many Demographix customers have been asking for – a fully-managed panel service that lets them track customer or member feedback on an ongoing basis. We do everything from list management to email build to final report writing. You sit back and get quality longitudinal data on a regular basis.

Gina has a BSc (Hons) in Business Administration from the University of Bath.
